Junior League of El Paso Community Report
Role: Creative Direction and Design (Hello Amigo)
Overview
The Junior League of El Paso (JLEP) is part of an international organization dedicated to improving communities through voluntarism, leadership, and developing the potential of women. As part of an ongoing partnership, I supported JLEP across multiple initiatives, including annual Community Reports, presidential theme identities, community project branding, and member-facing materials. The Community Report served as a key storytelling tool to share the League’s annual impact with partners, members, and the broader El Paso community.
Approach
Each year, I developed a cohesive visual system inspired by the League’s presidential theme, translating it into a clear, engaging report that highlighted community partnerships, focus areas, and outcomes. The design balanced warmth and professionalism, using strong typography, intentional hierarchy, and approachable color palettes to make complex information accessible and human. In addition to the Community Report, I extended the system across related materials including a membership brochure, branded stickers, and social posts to support recruitment and engagement.
Impact
Helped clearly communicate the impact of JLEP’s community projects across mental well-being and physical health initiatives
Distributed 200+ printed Community Reports throughout the El Paso community to partners and stakeholders
Strengthened brand consistency across annual reports, recruitment materials, and social content
Elevated JLEP’s ability to share accomplishments and build trust with community partners year over year
